As you all know fashion and music are so closely intertwined that the lines are starting to blur. A friend of mine Bukola Are is a designer/Sylist for The House Of Versatile Styles and creates seriously uber designs and clothes with an african flair… I am a fan of her work and so should you.

Luckily I was able to see her frocks in person last spring when she shot the campaign above. The pictures were taken by Kb and also Kareem Yearwood. She is one of the MAJOR up and coming designers from the diaspora and recently got featured in The Fashion Journal. Check out the feature on page 48 and support.

WHEWWWwwww!!!!! This month has truly been a busy one..First was moving. I haven’t moved in a long time and decided to soooooooo….it has been very busy hence my not posting anything on the site. Things are finally settling down and I will try my best to post on here frequently. Since the last post, I have decided to release a mixtape and we are currently finishing the songs that are going on there…It(the mixtape) is very experimental and has a bunch of records that I recorded recently and also from over a year ago. Funny thing is I dont know what to name it……..any suggestions?

Naira and I recently recorded on of the songs that will be on the album “Love DrUnK” and it has been playing over and over in my head.. Words cant explain how excited I am with this project. The record is titled “Sick+Hungovr+Drunk” and I cant wait till you hear it.. Please feel free to leave comments and also suggestions.
